Hand Stamped Nature

Hello Everyone ~ today I am sharing some Hand Stamped Nature with you.

Yesterday was blurr!  I had so much going on that I was glad when the day was over.  Today is also going to be crazy with appointments and back to back workshops.  I will sleep good the next few nights!

Our Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge is today.  This time our challenge in a photo inspiration.

I was at a loss as to what to do for this challenge.  I started looking through my catalog.  I have the Woodland embossing folder so I could use that one.  I then saw the Awesomely Artistic and knew I could use the dragonflies in there.  I used a piece of Very Vanilla and embossed the panel.  I then took my Soft Suede marker and outlined the trees and filled in the marks to show the texture of the bark.  I wrapped my burlap ribbon around the bottom of the panel and attached it.  I mounted this onto a Mint Macaron card base.  I then used the dragonfly stamp and inked it up first in Mint Macaron and then added some Island Indigo to the center.  I stamped the dragon fly and then repeated the same procedure to get a second dragonfly.  I cut my dragonflies out and mounted then on the card base using dimensional.s  Here is my interpretation of the photo inspiration.

Make sure you check out the Hand Stamped Sentiments blog to see what the other ladies on the design team created.  Then show us how the photo would inspire you.

Thanks for visiting me today.  Are you getting ready for the kids to go back to school?  Have a Terrific Tuesday and see if you can create your own Hand Stamped Nature project!

  1. I love your take on the challenge - that woodsy embossing folder is my latest favorite but I don't use it enough! Very pretty!
