Back to School

Hello Ladies ~ Are you ready for Back to School?

Well today is Zoie's first day of Kindergarten.  She went and met her teacher yesterday and took in all her school supplies.  When we were asking about her visit my sister asked her about her desk.  Zoie's comment was we don't have desks, we play all day!  Is she in for a big surprise!  It will be interesting to see what she has to say about today as we have all day kindergarten.  Can't wait to have that conversation.

Today is our Coloring Down the Lines blog hop.  Our theme this week is Back to School.  Here are the colors we were to use.

With this theme I thought it would be fun to do something other than a card.  I did some thinking and thought about what little gift I could make for Zoie's teacher.  Teachers always need note cards so I decided to do a cute little purse with some notecards inside.  I used the Night of Navy as the purse and the other colors for the note cards inside.  I made 6 note cards - 2 of each design.  Here is my cute purse and note cards.

Stampin' Up supplies used to create my project

Teachers always need thank you cards so I made all of them thank you's.  I had fun making this little gift and I am sure Zoie will enjoy giving it to her.

Now it is time to head on over to Helen's blog - Blue Dahlia Designs to see what she did with these colors and theme.  I am sure it will be fabulous!

Thanks for visiting me today.  I hope you enjoyed my project.  Have a Wonderful Wednesday and what would you make for a Back to School theme?
