Good Morning Everyone ~ Are you ready for our Global Stampers monthly event?
I am babysitting as I am writing this so I am going to make this short and sweet.
It is time for our monthly Global Stampers sharing. We have 5 fabulous project to share with you today. I am sharing my project today and will be sharing all the others throughout the week.
Our theme this month is Christmas is Coming! We were to highlight some of the items from the upcoming Holiday catalog. For my project I began with the Candy Cane Lane designer series paper. I wrapped my Real Red baker's twin around the top of the dsp. I used the framelit to cut out the tree and deer frame. I then used the plain framelit to cut out the circle on the dsp and the window sheet. I attached my window sheet behind the deer and tree framelit. I then used a piece of thin fun foam and cut out the plain framelit in the same spot as the dsp. I used tear and tape to attach the fun foam to the dsp. I then used tear and tape to attach the dsp layer to the Whisper White card base making sure to attach the edges of the circle shape really well to the card base. I filed the opening with some of the white and a few of the gold mica flakes. I then used the tree and deer framelit and a scrap of fun foam to cut our the frame. I trimmed away the trees and deer from the fun foam and used some Tombow multipurpose liquid glue to attach the fun foam to the frame. I set the frame inside the hole on the dsp. I thin used the 1 3/4" and 2 1/2" circle punches to create a frame. I attached it using Tombow multipurpose liquid glue to the card front covering the edges of the tree and deer frame. My shaker was complete and I just needed add my sentiment. Here is my creation.
