Playing with Coloring

Good Morning Everyone ~ Do you like to do some Playing with Coloring every once in a while?

Well I have Remi for part of the day today.  Then I am taking her to her other grandmother's and she is going to keep her until Sunday.  I will pick her up and bring her home as Jess gets back late tonight.  I knew I wouldn't get anything done today so I worked on my scrapbook class yesterday.  I realized for what I wanted to do I needed to order some supplies.  I did that right away so they would be here in time.  I am crossing my fingers on this one.

The card today was for the Try Stampin' on Tuesday challenge.  I did take some liberty in rotating the sketch.

When I went to the crop last month I stamped a bunch of images and took several of my different coloring mediums.  I played with the coloring as this is something I have been trying to do.  For my card today I used a color combo that I saw on one of my Facebook groups and I thought it was a beautiful combination.  I took out the Wood Textures dsp and chose a paper.  I cut this in half so I had a piece 3" wide.  This was adhered to a Marina Mist card base.  My image from Remarkable You had been stamped and colored using the Watercolor Pencils.  I did not use water on them, but instead used them like colored pencils.  I cut the image out and set it aside to do my sentiment.  The sentiment came from Colorful Seasons and was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Crumb Cake cardstock.  I flagged the end and added it to my card base using dimensionals.  The flower was added with dimensionals also.  To finish off my card I had 3 circle that were leftovers from the Nailed it bundle framelits.  I added them with glue dots.  Here is my final creation.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  I have a workshop tomorrow and then I need to prepare for my classes next week.  I will have a busy weekend.  Have a Fabulous Friday and pull out your pencils and do some Playing with Coloring!  I would love to see what you create!
