Well I had a great lunch yesterday with my friend. We always spend our time catching up and sharing our news. I will see her in 3 weeks at the wedding but we won't have a lot of time to chat then as we will be busy with other things.
Today is the beginning of my week at Card A Day Challenge Blog. Here is my challenge for the first day.
Clean & Simple Sunday:
White, cream or tan *
Make a monochromatic card in one of the above tones.
Make a monochromatic card in one of the above tones.
I decided to use white for my monochromatic card. I began with a card base of Whisper White. I used my craft knife and a cutting mat
to cut a slit in the side fold a little larger than my ribbon. I threaded my 5/8” organza ribbon
through the slit and tied a simple bow on the left hand side. Then using the Flourish thinlits I cut
out out 1 large flower, 2 smaller flowers, and 2 leaf sprays from Whisper White
card stock. I attached these to my
card base using Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I layered one of the smaller flowers on top of the larger
flower to give it some added dimension.
The Bold Butterfly thinlits were used to cut out the small butterfly
from Whisper White card stock. I
attached it to my card base using a Glue Dot. This card is perfect for a wedding or a shower.
