Hello Stampers ~ today I have a Swirly Thanks card for you.
At my workshop on Friday I was sharing how 2 of the cards I had designed used the Swirly Bird bundle. I talked to my customers how versatile this bundle it. One of the suggestions I had was to use the circle swirls to create mums by using a yellow and red. I decided to give that idea a try.
I started by stamping the solid circle using Crushed Curry. I then stamped on top using the swirl and Cherry Cobbler. I did the same with the smaller flowers but used the flower from Bunch of Blossoms for the Crushed Curry layer of the smaller flowers. I then went looking for some leaves that reminded me of the leaves on a mum. For the little flower I could not find one so I used the flower from the Swirly Bird stamp set. For the larger flower I thought the leaf in Flower Patch looked a little like a mum leaf. I stamped the leaves and now just need to add a sentiment and my twine. I stamped the sentiment and used the coordinating punch to cut it out. I added the 2 colors of twine I had used. My layer was mounted on my Cherry Cobbler card base and my card was complete. Here is my creation.

Thanks for visiting me today. I have 2 ladies coming to do their Christmas cards. Then I will be working on more cards for this month as well as cards for our Bingo night. Have a Sensational Sunday and give Swirly Thanks a try!
