Scribbles Vine

Happy Friday Ladies ~ ever wonder how you can use your thinlits in other ways?  Here is an example of how to use the Scribbles as a Vine.

Well it was really hot yesterday and is supposed to be hot for the next few days.  I spent time in my craft room yesterday and made several cards.  Today I have 2 workshops - one at 10 and another at 1.  I will take time after the last one to see if I can make a few more cards.

My card today began with one that Linda Schnabel posted.  Her card was actually a Halloween card.  I used the same basic layout but made mine using a flower.  I began by stamping the dots from  Gorgeous Grunge.  I then cut out the scribble from the Scribbles thinlets.  I cut the 2 outside lines and folded them down to add some texture and interest.  I stamped the sentiment in the lower right hand corner.  I used some Cherry Cobbler and embossed it with a retired polka dot folder.  I used the pansy punch to punch out the flower.  I stamped the little flower from Petite Petals and used the coordinating punch to punch it out.  I layered the little flower on top of the larger flower using a dimensional.  It was attached to my card using a dimensional.  To finish off my card I added a rhinestone in the center of the flower.  This was one of my workshop cards this month.  Here is my completed creation.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I still have a long To Do list but I am slowly crossing things off of it.  Have a Fabulous Friday and if you have the thinlets try a vine and share it with me!
