Good Morning Ladies ~ I love doing floral cards!

I am enjoying my quiet time.  I am working at my own speed and relaxing in the evenings.  I have had some meals that I like that the girls don't care for.  It is nice going at a slower speed.

This week I am designing for Card a Day Challenge blog.  We were given the challenges ahead of time and had to submit our cards several weeks ago.  Here is the challenge that was posted on Sunday. 

Clean & Simple Sunday:  

Florals…something with flowers

To make my card I used the Bunch of Blossoms stamp set.  I used the full flower and stamped it in Wisteria Wonder.  I then used the detailed stamp and stamped it in Perfect Plum.  I used the outline of the stamp and Elegant Eggplant to the last layer.  I stamped the flower in a plus sign pattern to get my flower.  I then stamped the small dots stamp in the center and colored the dots in with the gold Wink of Stella.  My sentiment was stamped on a scrap of white and cut out using the Tags and Labels framelits.  I cut a larger framelit of the same shape out of Elegant Eggplant and mounted the sentiment on top.   I added this to my card using dimensionals.  To finish off my card I added some of the Elegant Eggplant baker's twine.  Here is my first card for the Card a Day Challenge blog.
