Daisy Delight

Hello Stampers ~ I am in love with the Daisy Delight bundle!

Have you ever waited for something and been so excited about getting it?  That was how I was a few weeks ago.  My preorder was to be delivered and I usually get my UPS orders by 2 pm.  Well 2 pm came and went and no preorder.  I figured they were running behind.  Well 5:30 pm came and went and still no box.  I assumed I was not going to get it that day since it was so late.  Well at 6:45 Bijou went crazy barking.  I went to the front door and guess what was there?  MY PREORDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I took it into my craft room and opened it up and then I had to create something with it.

I chose to use the Daisy Delight Suite as I love daisies.  The papers in this Suite are gorgeous!  I looked through the papers and chose one that had large yellow daisies on the front and a green diagonal stripe on the back.  I used the striped paper as a layer for my card front.  The yellow daisy side was cut at 1 inch and mounted onto Daffodil Delight.  As part of this suite there is a yummy Old Olive chevron ribbon.  I tied this around the top of the daisy layers.  This ribbon ties so nicely!.  This panel was mounted onto the left hand side of the card front with dimensionals.  I used the stamp set to stamp 2 of the daisies onto white card stock with Memento ink.  The new daisy punch was used to punch both of the stamped images out.  A Daffodil Delight marker was used to loosely scribble on color.  I wanted this messy as the stamp set is fun.  The center of one of the daisies was colored in using the marker also.  The 2 daisies were layered with dimensionals.  To finish off the flower I added one of the new Faceted Gems to the center.  These are so sparkly - and you know me and my bling! - and they are bumpy!  The finished daisy was added to the card front.  Here is my creation!

Since these items are not available for ordering yet, I could not do a supply list.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  I had a great day at the yarn shop yesterday.  I am working on a shawl that would be perfect for the Summer and Fall if I can get it done.  Have a Fabulous Friday and will you be ordering the Daisy Delight bundle?
