I wanted to get a lot done yesterday but I did not get much crossed off my list. Other things kept coming up and got in the way of my creating. I did get a video made for tomorrow's project so not too bad.
It is our Product Focus Thursday blog hop today. Our focus this week is the Balloon Adventures bundle. You should have arrived here from Amanda's blog - Our Crafty Playdate. I am sure she had a great project for you.
I decided to play with my challenges as I had not participated in a while. I chose the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.
This was the starting point for my card. I decided to use just the stamps on my card today. I took my Whisper White layer - 4" x 5 1/4" - and some low tack painter's tape to mask off a section all the way around. The Stampin' Up grid paper is perfect for this as you can get a straight line. Once I had the card stock masked off, I took out my cloud template and sponged on some Soft Sky ink to form my clouds. After my clouds were finished I carefully removed the masking tape and then attached the layer to the Soft Sky card base. Next, using some scrap paper I stamped the balloons from Balloon Adventures. I used the Balloon Bouquet punch to punch out the 3 balloons. The balloons were set on my card to determine the placement. Once I had them like I wanted, I stamped the strings for them. Next I used dimensionals to add the balloons to the strings. Now I needed my sentiment. I stamped the sentiment and flagged the ends. The sentiment was added to a piece of Island Indigo card stock and the ends of it were flagged also. I added dimensionals to the back and attached to my card. Here is my completed creation.
