I did manage to get a few things finished yesterday. I made 4 cards, a video, and had a pedicure. Today I have a workshop and then I will be designing again. I hope to get several more cards made today.
One of the cards I made yesterday began with the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches
I knew that rectangle element would be perfect for the chicken in Hey, Chick! I stamped the chicken using the Memento Tuxedo black ink. I then used watercolor pencils and a blender pen to color it in. After it was colored in, I stamped the sentiment. I wanted to add an extra little bit so I took a piece of linen thread and wrapped it around the image. This panel was mounted on a piece of Watermelon Wonder card stock. I chose piece of the Carried Away dsp for the background. I wanted it to be colorful so I went for one that had lots of colors in it. This was mounted onto a Whisper White card stock. I added some of the Sale-abration metallic ribbon and then mounted the image panel using dimensionals. Here is my completed creation.
