Colorburst Snow

 Happy New Year!  🎉🎊

Good Morning Everyone ~ I have a beautiful Colorburst Snow for you today.

Well I have almost finished the cover of my planner.  I have to go back and fill in with some small images and then it will be done.  Then I can do the spine and finish up the back.  Then I need to add some ribbon and some die cuts and it will be done.  I am hoping to have it finished by next weekend.  I also completed one of my thank you cards and almost finished the second set.  I am hoping to get it finished later today and start to work on the 3rd set after Jess gets home.

I played with some of my Colorbursts the other day when I was having a watercolor play day.  I used a blue and a purple to create a background.  After it had dried, I sprinkled water on it and used a paper towel to blot the water off.  This takes off some of the ink and leaves dtops that look like it is snowing.  I mounted this on a piece of white using Tear & Tape.  I added some silver ribbon and then attached the layer to a Night of Navy card base.  I used some Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper to cut out a snowflake corner die I had.  This was attached using Tombow glue,  To finish off the card I used a piece of Shimmer Paper to cut out the word snow.  Here is my completed creation.

Thanks for visiting me today.  The weather is supposed to be warmer for a few days so I may try and work in my flowerbeds and clean up the dead stuff.  Have a Sensation New Year Sunday and I hope you liked my Colorburst Snow!
