Global Stampers - Alicia

Hello Everyone ~ today is the last day for the Global Stampers and our last member of the team is Alicia.

It has been quiet here with the kids at the beach.  I spent yesterday relaxing and I did do some designing in my craft room.   I will work on a video today for later this week.  I also want to work on some of Michaela's album.  I need to find pictures of college and up to now and then I will try embellishing what I have done as well as doing the journaling for some of what I have completed.  I leave in about 2 weeks so I have to get it done!

The Global Stampers team has enjoyed sharing our creations with you this week.  Our last member of the team is Alicia from Stamp Creations with Munchkin.  Alicia is ending the week with projects using all the coloring.  She has some great cards where she has used one of the new In Colors and compares it to other colors in our collections.  Make sure you check our her blog to see what other colors she used on each card.

Up first is Dapper Denim.

 Next we have Emerald Envy

 Who can miss Flirty Flamingo?

 And how about Peekaboo Peach?

And my all time favorite Sweet Sugarplum!

Here are all of the cards together.  Don't they make a great set!  Any body would love to get these as a gift.  I hope you visited her blog and left her some love!  We will be sharing some more projects with you next month and hope you will check us out again!

Thanks for visiting me today.  The weather is supposed to be a little bit less humid so I am hoping I can walk this week.  Have a Sensational Sunday!

Global Stampers - Valerie

Good Morning Stampers ~ We are continuing with our trek around the world with Valerie as our next Global Stamper!

Well Jess and the girls leave for the beach today.  She will be gone a week.  I will be doing a lot of video taping and knitting while she is gone.  It will be quiet here and I hope to to relax and that the weather cooperates so I can walk.

Today is the next stop on the Global Stampers project share.  Up today is Valerie from Les Ateliers de Val.  Valerie is from France so her blog is written in French.  She does have a translate button on her blog so just click on it to have it translated for you.

Valerie gave us an adorable 3D project.  She used the Popcorn box and the new Pop of Paradise stamp set to make this fun treat holder.  She has filled it with candies.  Here is her project.

Isn't this fabulous?  I know I would love to get this as a thank you gift, how about you?  Make sure you go over to her blog and leave her some love.

Thanks for visiting me today.  Tomorrow is the last day of the Global Stampers shares.  We already have next month's theme planned so I hope you will join us for that.  Have a Super Saturday!

Global Stampers - Fiona

Hello Everyone ~ I am continuing with the Global Stampers projects and today I have Fiona's project.

Wow did the East Coast get blasted with storms yesterday.  There was strong lightning and heavy rain.  Lots of flooding of roads.  Today it is supposed to rain most of the day.  We really need it so I am not complaining.

Today I am sharing another project from the Global Stampers Team.  Our next member is Fiona Whitten.  Her blog is Fiona's blog -  Oakfield Crafts.  Fiona chose to use Emerald Envy.  She used the adorable from the Hostess set Love you Lots.  Here is her fabulous creation!

Make sure you head on over to her blog Oakfield Crafts to leave her some love!

Thanks for visiting me today.  Tomorrow will be Valerie's turn so make sure you come back to check out her project.  Have a Fabulous Friday!

Global Stampers - Me Again

Hello Ladies ~ Time for some more Global Stampers and this time it is me again!

Today I am headed to the yarn store.  I am still working on my Mystery Knit-a-long which ended a couple of weeks ago.  I am up to clue 3 and think I have one more clue after that.  After that I will go back to working on some of my UFO's - unfinished objects.  I have lots of unfinished projects so I want to get them done.

Today I am going back to the Global Stampers tour.  We had a member who had to drop out and we had already chosen colors so I said I would do the color she chose which was Sweet Sugarplum.  I saw all the other projects the other ladies had made and decided to try a 3D item.

Several month ago I was trying to design a box for a Bags & Tags series of classes I have.  In doing the designing, I ended up with several different size boxes.  I used one of them and decorated it for a color challenge.  That box was in black so I decided to use the same idea but use Very Vanilla for the box.  Here is my completed project for Sweet Sugarplum.

Thanks for visiting me today.   I love this box in Vanilla!  I hope you enjoyed seeing it.  Have a Great Day and make sure you come back tomorrow for some more projects from the Global Stampers!

Hello

Hello Ladies ~ A great general card is one that has the sentiment Hello.

Well I survived the 2 workshops yesterday.  Both groups got their project made and enjoyed the classes.  I have another one on Friday Morning and again on Saturday morning.  Sometime over the next 2 days I need to get my cards for my workshop next week made.  I need to come up with some ideas before I can design.

Today is the Coloring Down the Lines blog hop.  Our colors this week are bright and cheery.

Stampin' Up color matches

Since I had to make my card yesterday evening after my workshops I was really struggling for an idea.  I decided to check out my challenge blogs.  I found a fun sketch at The Paper Players

To start I took my white card base and embossed it with the Petal Burst embossing folder.  I then went looking at my washi tape.  Would you believe there is no washi tape in the colors we have to choose from?  Had to rethink that so I decided to look at my designer series paper.  The Festive Birthday paper has the Crushed Curry so I used that for the vertical panel.  I added 2 flagged banners in Bermuda Bay and Rich Razzleberry.  Now I need to do the circle image and the heart image.  I punched a circle from white and then used the Flourish Thinlits to cut out 2 of the smaller flowers.  I layered them and added a large rhinestone in the center.  I popped the circle onto the panel with dimensionals.  To address the heart shape I used a retired 7/8 inch scallop circle punch to punch my Hello.  It is also added with dimensionals.  My card was complete!  Here is my creation.

Are you ready to hop on down the lines?  Next stop is Helen's blog - Blue Dahlia Designs ,   Make sure you leave her some love as well as the other ladies on the hop!

Thanks for visiting me today.  I saw a sneak peek at the upcoming Holiday catalog yesterday.  Love the paper they shared.  We get another peek today.  Wonder what we will see this time?  Have a Wonderful Wednesday and do you create Hello cards?

Great Friend

Good Morning Stampers ~ Do you have a Great Friend?

If you came to see another Global Stamper, they will be back later this week.  I have design team commitments today and tomorrow.  I can't wait to show you the other projects.

Today is the Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge.  This challenge is all about a sketch.

I thought this sketch would be perfect for using some of the beautiful Blooms & Bliss ds paper.  I chose the multi colored flower piece.  I mounted the strip on some Sweet Sugarplum card stock.  I used my triple banner punch for the horizontal pieces.  I punched my circle and then fussy cut my flower and attached to the circle.  I mounted the circle with dimensionals.  to finish off the panel I added some silver thread.  This was attached to my card base that I had embossed with the Gently Falling embossing folder.  My card was complete!  Here is my creation.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I have 2 workshops today and I need to get my card for the blog hop finished also.  Busy day for me!  Have a Terrific Tuesday and take some time to make a card for your Great Friend!

Global Stampers - Ann's Up Next

Hello Stampers ~ I have another Global Stampers project today.

Wow can you believe the heat we are having?  Thank goodness we did not have the humidity today so that helped a little with the heat.  Perfect day to spend in your craft room!

Today I am sharing the next project from our Global Stampers group.  Ann Lewis from Ann's Paperworks has Dapper Denim to work with.  Ann created a beautiful project using the Touches of Texture stamp set.  She has all the details on her blog so make sure you head over there and leave her some love for the fabulous project she created.  Here is her project.
