This weekend we made some Christmas cookies with the girls. Zoie loves to cook and had a good time making them. We still have one more that is Jess and my favorite to do. She may try and do those today. I also spent some time in my craft room. I have my last Bags & Tags for the year and I had to finish up the project. Next year we are working on some other types of classes. If you are local we would love to have you join us!
Today I am sharing a card that I made a few weeks ago. I was in my room and ran across some snowflakes that I had used some other dies to cut and knew I needed to use them for a card. I took a piece of Whisper White and embossed it with the Softly Falling embossing folder. I had the large snowflakes cut out so I wanted some smaller ones. I stamped the small snowflake from Flurry of Wishes twice and used the punch to punch them out. I added my snowflakes with either glue dots or dimensionals. See that lacy ribbon across the bottom. It was white and I wanted it to be blue so I pulled out my Stampin' Spritzer and added some alcohol and reinker and spritzed it to dye it. I let it dry and added it to the lower portion of my card panel. My card layer was complete so I added it to a Soft Sky card base. Here is my completed creation.
