Christmas Wishes

Hello Stampers ~ Are you getting ready to fulfill all the Christmas Wishes of your family?

Well I got 5 cards made yesterday and the write up complete and sent to the coordinator of the design team.  My hair dresser was sick and cancelled my appointment so I took advantage of that time.  I have a new appointment on Thursday so I will loose time that day.

Today we have a sketch challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge blog

I knew I could make this card fairly quickly and that was good as I am running behind on everything lately.  I decided to check out my This Christmas Specialty Designer Series paper to see what I could use.  I found the perfect background.  I then needed the strip across the middle so I went with Very Vanilla and bordered it with some scraps of Brushed Gold paper.  I stamped my sentiment using the Garden Green ink.  To finish off the card I used my medium star punch and some red glimmer paper.  Here is my take on the sketch.

Make sure you head on over to the Hand Stamped Sentiments blog to check out the other creations.  I am sure there will will be some awesome ideas.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I have ladies coming tonight to make Christmas cards so it will be a lot of fun.  Have a Terrific Tuesday and don't forget to get working on those Christmas Wishes!

I love your choice of dsp. Using the brushed gold really made your sentiments pop. Simply stunning!
