Hello Everyone ~ do you use paper clips in your stamping? Stampin' Up has some cute ones and I used one of those on my card today.
I hope you have some fun plans for today! I will be taking it easy and working in my craft room. I am trying to work ahead so I have all my design commitments and extra cards created so I can work on some other projects I need to get completed. This also frees me up to spend time with friends, have play time with other stampers, and take some classes. It also allows me to have some time to work on my knitting!
One of the challenge blogs I check out is Paper Craft Crew Challenges. This week they had a simple challenge I wanted to try.
I needed a background paper but I need to see what baker's twine I had. I recently got the Elegant Eggplant so I pulled out my Regals paper stack and chose the striped paper. I mounted it onto a piece of matching card stock and attached to my card base. I saw the orange strip as washi tape so I pulled out my Pop of Pink washi tape and used the black and gold pattern. I then knew I had some of the Bow paper clips I could use so I attached the paper clip and then wrapped the baker's twine around the panel. I then played with the twine and was able to tie it around the paper clip end. I had wanted to be able to do that and was excited when it worked out. I then added a flag with gold glimmer paper. I stamped my sentiment at the bottom and my card was complete! Here is my creation.

Thanks for visiting me today. It will be nice to have a quiet day today. Have a Marvelous 4th of July Monday and I hope you give paper clips on your cards a try!
