I did manage to spend some time in my craft room yesterday. I cut paper for my workshop tonight and worked on several cards. Then I had to follow Jess down as she dropped her truck off. Her battery died and she is heading to Great Wolf Lodge this evening. Then we went for a walk last night. It wasn't too bad as it was not as humid as it has been. Today I have to watch Remi while Jess has a conference call, then I have an acupuncture appointment, and to end the evening I will be teaching a Bags & Tags class. Full day for me!
Today I am sharing a card that I made off a card I saw in a catalog. I liked the layout and so pulled out my supplies to create my version of the card. I used 2 patterns from the Playful Palette designer series paper for the layer to the left. I then used some Soft Suede card stock to create a tag. I used a layer to stamp the Wild About Flowers. Then I stamped my Thanks and attached it to my tag. I then threaded some of the new 1/4" Natural Trim in silver through the slit at the top and tied the ribbon together with some silver thread. My card was complete. Here is my completed creation.
