Timeless Cuppa

Hello Stampers!

Wow was it cold yesterday!  We even had snow showers!  This is crazy.  I am so glad I could stay in my craft room and be creative.

I worked on lots of cards to post this week yesterday.  Today I am planning on doing some playing with my new supplies and some different techniques.  I also need to plan out my scrapbook videos and a few other videos I want to make.  I also have some commitments I need to do also.  Wow I have a lot to get done today!

My card today is a little different than I normally do.  I began with the sketch challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches.

I decided to play with my Timeless Textures stamp set.  I wanted to see if I could use it to create a border for the vertical panel.  I stamped it around the edge and when I was done there was very little space left in the middle.  I decided to use the flourish and stamp in the middle.  I was originally going to cut the small cup for the flower element in the sketch.  Since I did not like it I decided to try the tea pot.  I cut it out and the size was better so I stamped it with the flourish from the set.  I then decided to stamp the cup and add it at the upper right hand corner.  Now that I had the pieces I needed a background.  I pulled out a piece of the Early Espresso card stock and set the elements on it.  It needed something as it was too plain.  I looked at my embossing folders and chose the Boho Chic for my background.  Now that I had all my pieces, I was ready to put my card together.  Here is my final creation.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I will be relaxing today and watching Remi as Jess takes a class.  I hope you have some fun plans.  Have a Sensational Sunday!
