Awesome Friend

Happy Friday Stampers!

I did not get much time in my craft room yesterday.  I got home late from the stamping event later than I had planned.  I did manage to make my card for today.  I also think I have finalized my card for the Valentine Pocket Letter swap I am in.  This swap is like the Christmas one I did.  I do one of the 9 pockets and then make 8 more cards for the other ladies in the swap.  I am hoping to finish those up either this evening.

My card today began with the color challenge at Sunday Stamps

I decided to pull out a stamp set I have not used in a while.  I stamped the Awesomely Artistic stamp set with Crumb Cake in the lower right hand corner.  I then used blender pens and ink in the lid to color in the flowers.  When I was finished I pulled out my Wink of Stella clear pen and colored in the centers.  I then stamped the frame and the sentiment and cut it out.  When I set my sentiment on the card it was missing something.  I decided to do some embossing.  I pulled out the Woodgrain embossing folder and embossed around the image.  I then added my ribbon and attached to my card base.  I added my sentiment with dimensionals.  Here is my final creation.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I am headed to the yarn store to spend some time working on my shawl.  This evening I will do some stamping.  Have a Great Day!
