Good Morning Ladies!
Have we got a fun challenge for you today at Hand Stamped Sentiments! We are approaching that time of year when there will be lots of parties. We are all looking for cute favors to use so our challenge this week is all about favors.
I recently created the Surprise box using Dawn Griffith's video tutorial for a crop I went to. Since the ones I made for the crop did not use SU supplies I thought it would be fun to make one of these with a Christmas theme. The 2 pictures shows the ones I made for our challenge and the third pic shows the ones I made for the crop. Hope you enjoy them
I hope you will pop over to our blog and see what the other ladies made. Then grab your supplies and join us this week. We would love to see what you do for this challenge.
Thanks for looking and have a Terrific Tuesday!

Late Night Stampers - Convention CASE
Happy Monday Stampers!
Well we are beginning a new week! Can you believe it will be August on Wednesday? The only thing I don't like about the upcoming months is the fact that it will get darker earlier. What do you dislike about the upcoming months?
Over at Late Night Stampers this week we have a CASE challenge. This week we want you to CASE something from the recent SU convention. Since I went to convention I pulled out my swaps and found this card to CASE. This card was made by Nelda Clements.
I loved this card and decided to use it. I changed the colors and used Elegant Eggplant. I also used a different sentiment set. Here is what I created.
inside of card and envelope
So need an idea of a card to CASE? Check out my pics of the display boards at convention. They are at the top under the tab for Convention 2012. I still have many more photos to post but I did get a lot up yesterday. I am sure you can find something there to case and you can then play along with us.
Thanks for looking and have a Marvelous Monday!

This is a little different
Good Morning Stampers!
Well we got a little rain last night. Not enough to do much but make it more humid. I hope you have rain in your area as it is very dry here.
My card today was created for the sketch challenge at Try Stampin' on Tuesday

This was a challenging sketch for me. I was not certain what I was going to do with those 3 flags at the top. I did manage to create a card for it but I am not happy with it. Let me know what you think and maybe how I can make it better.
inside of card and envelope
Thanks for looking and have a Sensational Sunday! I have a busy day today - lots to get done before I got to Boston later this week!

Red Hot Reason to Smile
Good Morning Ladies!
I spent a lot of time in my craft room yesterday. I got lots of cards done for posts for the coming weeks. I am in Boston next week so I wanted to make sure I had cards for you to look at.
My card today uses the sketch challenge at Red Hot Stampers Sketch Challenge Blog.
I have a lot of patterned paper and I thought this one would be a good one to use some of that up. Here is my creation.
inside of card and envelope
I love this patterned paper, how about you? The stamp set I used is the special for this month. If you have not ordered it yet this month make sure you get it.
Thanks for looking and have a Super Saturday!

Sketch Frenzy Friday - Daydream Medallions
Happy Friday Everyone!
Wow has this week flown by! I have lots to do before I leave for Boston next week. I am so excited as I am going to a demo luncheon for a dear friend Donna. Then I am going to do one of the cards in her workshop. It will be lots of fun and I will be sure to post pics.
Our sketch this week was created by Patrice Herrera. It was a fun one to work with.
I pulled out one of the sets I got from convention to use on this card - Daydream Medallions. I thought the cute little flower would be perfect for the circle elements. Here is my creation.
inside of card and envelope
So, are you ready to see what my team members did with the sketch? This is a mini blog hop. The next stop on the hop is Tammy Fite. Go check out her creation! Thanks for looking and have a Great Day!

Good Morning Stampers!
So what plans do you have for today? It is supposed to be in the 100's again today so it will be a good day to stay inside and play. Hopefully you will have time to play today.
I decided to play along with 2 challenges today so I would have a card to post. I began with the color challenge at Dynamic Duos

I then found a great sketch at Stampin Queen's Sketch Challenge

This was a fun way to combine 2 challenges. I used one of my new sets from Convention. Here is my creation.
inside of card and envelope
Isn't this a fun card? And it is super easy and quick too. I don't know about you but I am always looking for fast and easy cards. Hope you enjoyed my card today! Thanks for looking and have a Great Day!

Coloring Down the Lines - Cherry Cobbler
Good Morning Stampers!
It is time for our color coach challenge. This week for our Coloring Down the Lines we had to use
Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, and Early Espresso
OR
Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie, and Night of Navy
I opted for the second combination.
We also have a challenge at Donna's Butternut Sage Designs. At convention we got the Ronald McDonald stamp set Moving Forward. In our chat we thought it would be fun to use the set to create a card. Here is what I did with the 2 challenges.
inside of card and envelope
Isn't this bicycle so cute? I loved it when I saw it.
Now it is time to hop on over to Amanda's blog - Our Crafty Playdate to see what she did with the color challenge this week. Thanks for looking and have a Wonderful Wednesday!

Hand Stamped Sentiments - Beach Photo
Hello Everyone!
I can't believe the week is going so quickly. This is the last week of my class and I have lots of projects to grade. I will be busy doing that in between everything else.
Over at Hand Stamped Sentiments we have another great challenge this week. Our challenge this week is all about the beach. We got this great photo to base our projects on.
I decided to try making a beach with shells on it. This card has lots of layers to create the dunes of the beach. Here is my creation.
inside of card and envelope
Make sure you head on over to Hand Stamped Sentiments to check out what the design team made and I hope you will join us this week. Thanks for looking and have a Terrific Tuesday!

Late Night Stampers - Christmas in July
Good Morning Stampers!
Wow convention was awesome! So much to see and do and so many new friends to make and reconnecting with old friends. It is exhausting and exhilarating at the same time! Next year promises to be the best one yet since it is our 25th Anniversary. I hope you will start to put money aside each week so you can go next year. I have added more pics to the Convention page at the top so check it out to see more of the sample boards.
Ok on to today's card. The challenge this week at Late Night Stampers is Christmas in July. I had ordered the Star Tree stamp with the idea of using it in my Christmas stamp-a-stack. With this challenge I decided to use the stamp and create a card for my stamp-a-stack. I wanted the focus to be on the tree so I kept my card clean and simple. Here is my creation.
inside of card and envelope
So what do you think? Isn't this a beautiful card? I am sure the ladies will love making it. I hope you will join us and make a Christmas card and join us. Thanks for looking and have a Marvelous Monday!

Still learning
Well I am on my way home from Salt Lake! I had a great time at convention!
I have added a new page on my blog to post pictures of all the sample boards. I am working on uploading them to the page. I have 5 boards added. When you click on the Convention 2012 pics tab at the top it should open a new window with the pictures there.
You will only see half of the photo but if you click on the picture you will get the whole image. I will work on adding more and let you know when I do so you can check them out.
Thanks for stopping by and have a Sensational Sunday!

Card Share
Good Morning Ladies!
I am having a great time at convention! I have attended some great classes. The theme this year is "I Am". One of the classes Bonnie Thurber had Tami White and Ronda Wade share some great ideas for doing "Doing Business My Way".
I also went to a class called "I am Savvy". In this class Donna Griffith, Meg Wheeler, Dawn Griffith, and Laura Mulligan shared ways to use ribbon and other products that I can't wait to share with you.
Ok now on to the card. This was a card I made for a group class. I was inspired bu a card I saw on a blog but can't remember which one. Here is my creation.
I hope you enjoyed my. Card and don't mind my posting about my classes. There is a contest going on from convention where we have to post about the classes so that is why I am doing it.
Thanks for looking and have a Super Saturday!

Coloring Down the Lines - Cajun Craze
Good Morning!
As you are reading this I am in Salt Lake City for the Stampin' Up convention. Today is registration day and they have make-n-takes and a tour of the Riverton campus planned.
Despite that many of us are at the convention, we are still doing the blog hop. This week our color choices were
Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Baja Breeze
OR
Cajun Craze, Perfect Plum, Always Artichoke
When I saw the Cajun Craze I thought of Fall and chrysanthemums. I pulled out my Creative Elements and the flower in there reminds me of a mum so I went with it. I used the second choice again as I was in the mood to use Plum. Here is my creation.
inside of card and envelope
Now it is time to head on over to Amanda's blog to see which choice she used. Don't forget to leave some comments as they make our day!
Thanks for looking and have a Wonderful Wednesday!

Diamond Dust for Hand Stamped Sentiments
Hi Stampers!
Well I am on my way to Salt Lake! The convention does not begin until Thursday but tomorrow we get to work on our make-n-takes and take a tour of the Riverton campus. This is where the orders we place are packed and shipped out. I will take pics and do a posting each day. In most cases it will be a second post for the day.
Our challenge this week at Hand Stamped Sentiments is the technique Diamond Dust.
This was a new technique for me and it created a challenge to photograph. I loved doing the technique. It was fun and while you can't see the sparkle it is very sparkly. Here is what I created.
inside of card and envelope
I hope you enjoyed my card. I am thinking this will also be another card at my workshop. What do you think? Thanks for looking and have a Terrific Tuesday!

One Sheet Wonder Class
Hello Ladies!
Quick post as it is late and I have an early morning and long day tomorrow.
Last month I did a One Sheet Wonder class. For those of you who don't know what this is, you take a sheet of cardstock and stamp it all over using a set. Then you cut the sheet apart following a pattern and use the pieces to make 10 cards.
I used the Betsy's Blossoms set with Marina Mist, Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry. Here is the sheet I made.
I will share 4 of the cards that can be made from the sheet. I will share the others tomorrow. Here are 4 of the samples.
I hope you enjoyed my cards today. Come back tomorrow to see the rest of the ones I made from this one sheet.
Thanks for looking and have a Super Saturday!

By the Seashore
Good Morning Ladies!
Well my class is on break until after I come back from convention. Now I can focus on finishing swaps!
My card today began with the sketch challenge at Utah Divas International
I loved that center panel and decided to use the my new seashore set. I stamped and cut out 3 of the images and then used Baja Breeze that I tore the edges. I then used my Whisper White to sponge the torn edges. I used a glue pen to add some Dazzling Diamonds. All I needed to do then was pop my images and add some linen thread. Here is my creation.
inside of card and envelope
I hope you enjoyed my card. Do you have this set? What have you created with it? I would love it if you would share. Thanks for looking and have a Great Day!
