Another round of display boards

Hi Ladies!

A little late today. Helped my daughter clean her rental house (it was filthy and took us all day) yesterday so when I got home I was exhausted. Here are some more display boards from convention.

I am off to run errands. Hope to get some time to play and post cards later today. Thanks for looking and have a Super Saturday!

An inspired challenge

Happy Friday Ladies!

Today's card was actually inspired by a card by Stampin' With Markie's Mom. When I saw her card I was so inspired. I decided to see if I could use her idea for my card. I used the sketch challenge at Cards & Things.

I stamped my image and used markers to color it in. Next I sponged the edges with Pear Pizzazz and Poppy Parade. I mounted my image on Basic Black and used the white gel pen to add dots around the edges. I used a marker and colored just the word "believe" on the Just Believe saying stamp. After I had it stamped I mounted it on Poppy and then Black. I thought it would be fun to sponge the background of the 2 bottom panels. I sponged them all over but then went back and added more sponging on the panels. I was actually going to reverse the colors but when I put them with the main image panel I didn't like the look so I reversed my original idea. I stamped and cut out the single flower image. To finish the card I added some gold gel pen for the stamens and center of the flower. Here is the sketch and what I created.

And now I have some more display boards for you.

I am off to my daughter's to help her paint and clean before her furniture arrives. Will post more display board pics for you tomorrow.

Thanks for looking and have a Fabulous Friday!

Birdie Thanks!

I have more display boards at the end of my post.

Wow, I can't believe it is Thursday already. Where is the time going?

Today's card is for the sketch challenge at Stamping 411.

I stamped the image in black and used markers to color it in. I used Julie's "No Copics, No Problem" tutorial to color the bird. The rest is pretty self explanatory but if you have questions, please let me know.

Here are some more display boards from Convention. I still have a lot of boards left to post. I got all the boards so I hope you are enjoying them!

Card Set using Priceless

Second post, scroll down for the display boards!

This week on Late Night Stampers there is a challenge to make 2 or more cards using the same set. I decided to work with the Priceless set as I love this set and haven't played with it for a while.

My first card uses the sketch at Techno Stamper. Mary Jo has given us another great one to work with.

My last card is from Gwen.

Off to my craft room to find my table so I can stamp!

More display boards

Well I did not get into my craft room yesterday. Trying to catch up from convention. I will be spending time in there today cleaning up my mess from swaps and my workshop and will spend some time creating. Will share that later today.

Until then, here are some more convention boards for you to look at.

Check back later for my card. Thanks for looking and have a Wonderful Wednesday!

More decorating ideas and display boards

I have my New Towne Village ladies this morning but will have a card post later this afternoon so check back this evening.

Here are some more pictures from the home office.

I thought this was a cute decorating idea. They used a tree branch and add paper flowers to decorate it. It would be so cool to make one of these and then change the designer series paper each season.

Close up of the flowers on the branches. It looks like they used circles and scrunched them in the center.

Now some more display boards.

I hope you are enjoying my display boards. I still have so many more to share with you. I had a great time and got so many swaps and ideas. I will be sharing them as well as some card over the next few weeks. Don't forget to check back later today for my card! Thanks for looking and have a Terrific Tuesday!

SU Home Office and next round of boards

I am traveling home today and scheduled this to post. I hope it works.

We went to the SU Home Office on Friday. This is an amazing place and has lots of decorating ideas. I have some of them for you today as well as some more display boards for you today.

This is the lunch area of for the workers. The center area has several waterfalls so you hear the sound of a waterfall while you are eating your lunch.

I thought is was a such a great idea to decorate a large wall. Go find some old frames as a thrift shop, clean them up and stencil on your walls. Adds some interest and is an inexpensive way to add beauty to your home.

Here is another idea for a wall. We have all seen the memo boards that uses ribbon and batting. You can create the same idea using ribbon and decorative tacks.

Here are some more display boards.

And finally there was a lady at the convention who had used her Big Shot to create a beautiful quilt. I took a picture of it so you could see that the Big Shot for more than papercrafting.

Hope you enjoyed today's pictures and were able to zoom in and see them up close. I have a workshop tomorrow morning but I have another post scheduled for the morning. I will be doing my Late Night Stampers in the afternoon so check back in the evening to see what I came up with.

Thanks for looking and have a Marvelous Monday!
