A card I didn't want to make

I got sad news yesterday.  My daughter sent me a message that her brother-in-law finally passed away.  He was involved in a serious motorcycle accident over a year ago and has suffered quite a bit since then.  I wanted to make a card for his parents so that was my motive for today's card.

Unfortunately I did not think I would have to participate in the sympathy theme challenge at Just Add Ink so I did not try.  Since I needed a card I was able to participate in that challenge.

I needed to choose some colors so I used the color challenge at Picture Perfect Creations

and combined it with the sketch challenge at Don't Waste Your Thursday

Here is what I created.

I hope you have some fun plans for today.  Thanks for looking and have a Sensational Sunday!

First off Hugs to your daughter and you. I had new myself this week and had to make one. They are soooo hard. You used our color beautifully and it will be a card that will touch their hearts.

Thanks for joining us and sharing your card at PPC.

Very sad to hear about your daughter's loss.... sympathy cards are so hard to make, but you did a beautiful job on this one, and I'm sure his family will appreciate it.
