My first try at a vintage card!

Well my card today is a new one for me. The challenge at Always Playing with Paper is to create a vintage card. I have never done a vintage card but knew I had a great example of one from my friend Carole'Anne. She is on the Late Night Stampers design team with me and at Convention the design team did a swap. I pulled out her card and saw that to be vintage it needs to have distressed edges, distressed inking, and rips in the cardstock. I used the color challenge from Cards & Things.

I did a lot of distressing, sponging, and ripping and here is my creation. Let me know what you think of my first attempt.

Here are some more display boards for you to look at.

I will be spending time in my craft room today. I need to get some cards made to post this weekend! Thanks for looking and have a Great Day!
