Simple card for you

While waiting for the sun to come out so I could photograph my cards I worked on my taxes this morning. I have all my info ready to input and will probably begin doing that tonight. Wish me luck as I am using a new program.

I created a lot of cards for you yesterday. I find if I have a busy week if I spend the weekend making cards to post during the week it is less stressful for me (yes - I do worry if I don't have a card for you). My card today uses the color challenge from the Colour Create blog. You were to use Basic Black, Real Red, and either white or off white. I opted for Very Vanilla. I combined this with a new challenge blog I ran across. The Hand Stamped Sentiments blog had a sketch challenge and I decided to give it a try. Here is the sketch and my creation.

inside of card
Stampin Up Supplies
Stamps: Dreams du Jour, Vintage Vogue Paper: Basic Black, Real Red, Very Vanilla Accessories: Basic Black - Green Galore - Real Red markers, Perfect Details texture plate, word window punch, Big Shot, crimper

Well I am off to make some more cards. Thanks for looking and have a Super Saturday!

This was a great combo of the two challenges! I LOVE the crimping. I forget a) how fun it is to crimp and b) what a simple yet powerful WOW it creates. Thank you so much for playing along with us at Hand stamped Sentiments. Hope to see you again.
