I received an e-mail about a new challenge blog and when I checked it out they were doing a tribute to the Olympics so I could not pass it up. The I Dream of Stamping Challenges blog's first challenge was to make a card using the colors of your favorite country's flag or the Olympic logo colors. I decided to really challenge myself and use the 5 colors in the Olympic flag - Basic Black - Brilliant Blue - Green Galore - Real Red - Yoyo Yellow. I ran across another challenge on another new blog - Project Tuesday - where you needed to make joy fold cards. I thought it would be fun to use the 5 colors to make this card. I went looking through my patterned paper and found retired papers for 3 of the colors - didn't have Yoyo Yellow and not sure we have ever had patterned paper for that color. I also wanted to use black as my accent color. It was then just a matter of putting the card together. Here is my creation.
