Wait until you see this card! No, don't scroll down and not read all my info first. When I pulled this reindeer out to use it wasn't until I had finished my card that I realized I had used it on an earlier card. I guess that means I really like the image. :)
This was another card just seemed to come together so easily. I gues my mojo is really cookin'! I began with the patterned paper and matched the basic card to the tree on the paper. I then needed another color to use on top and pulled out River Rock and it matched perfectly. I paired those up with Riding Hood Red (I seemed to be using this color a lot lately).
I purchased Anna Wight's North Pole Post from Whipper Snapper Designs and it had this great saying that went perfectly with the image. I also had this great ribbon I had gotten from Michael's. When I put it on the card it was the "piece de resistance" to tie the whole card together.
I used the sketch from Our Creative Corner for the layout. This was a great sketch with some variety to really make the card interesting. I just may use this one again. Here is the sketch and my creation.
Here is the inside of my card.
Stamps: Christmas Blocks (TAC), North Pole Post (Whipper Snapper Designs), All Year Cheer I (retired) Paper: Always Artichoke, Riding Hood Red, River Rock, white, background patterned paper (PaperWhite), Cinnamon Whimsy Stripes (Lasting Impressions) Ink: Palette Noir Black, Riding Hood Red Accessories: Always Artichoke - Ballet Blue - Bashful Blue - Bravo Burgundy - Close to Cocoa - Creamy Caramel - Real Red - Regal Rose - Rose Red markers, ribbon (Michael's), aqua painter, dimensionals
Check back later today for another card. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
